Too Young for the Duck Pond?

Aiden being my first child I often wonder is he old enough for that? Quite honestly I never wondered if he was old enough to go to the duck pond and feed the ducks. As a family we went to the duck pond and the answer to the question I did not ask is Yes Aiden is too young for the ducks. You may be asking yourself why is that, does he not like the ducks, do they scare him, does he not get the concept of feeding the ducks? All good questions but the answer to them all is no. The true problem lies with the fact that he loves the ducks, can't get enough of the ducks and doesn't understand the concept of the waters edge and that he shouldn't swim with the ducks. Since Tyson has a bum ankle and is moving at a snails pace it was up to me 8 months pregnant to chase, run, pick up and keep Aiden out of the duck water. It wasn't a horrible time at the duck pond, I would classify it as a good outing, keep in mind I don't leave the house much. It was much easier after 5 minutes of chasing, I strapped him in to his stroller, wheeled it close to the water and let him look at a safe and dry distance.
There was an amazing variety of ducks..lots of colors and lots and lots of ducks. Here is the only picture where Aiden has freedom.

This is when I got smart and strapped him in.

Where you guys at Miles Square park?!? We were there today for FHE but at the playground.
The stroller is the best way. Natalie tries to dive into the pond with the ducks as well. I just put her in her stroller and give her bread to throw. This way the ducks actually get close to her because if I let her out she chases after them quacking:)
