October 2011 and Halloween

 Liam are you missing something?

 Aiden "wasn't tired" but I would say falling asleep in front of the door would say other wise.

Nola also a thumb sucker.

Did you just wake me up?

Annual Caramel Apples.  Tyson designed an amazing tag yet again.

 I've been taking cake class for 3 months once a week.  

Last Thursday was my final class and it was with fondant.

So I made this Halloween Cake and had some friends over Friday night to help eat it.

 With dry ice rootbeer course.

 Miss Nola having some dinner.

 Baby Gavin getting a better view of the toys.

 The bats on the top of the cake were made with Gum Paste and Fondant.

Gum Paste is gross and slimy when in the mouth.

The mix gets really hard.

Then I put glitter all over the bats.

 Aiden wanted to eat one.

And look it turned him into a vampire. WAAHAHA

 Then Liam got in on the action.

 How do you really feel about it Liam?

Let's just say that Aiden was the only one that liked it and ate the whole thing.

 Nola did not "love her wings"

 Truck or Treating.

Aiden did not want to be Peter Pan.

Liam offered to switch with him.

But Aiden was not interested.

At least he wore everything except the hat.

He also wouldn't let us take any pictures at home.

We had to sneak some.

On Halloween Aiden came up to me and said "I will let you take my picture tonight"

 

 

 

Aiden got tired fast.

He rode on the stroller for a while but Nola was pulling on his glow necklace and feather.

Then he wanted to go home.

So Tyson, Nola and Aiden hobbled all the way back to the house.

Tyson probably has a herniated disk, Like I said hobbled.

Upon arriving at the house Aiden said "If I see Mom I will be able to walk again."

Tyson then hobbled back to us.  What a great Dad.

While trick or treating Nola took to eating her skirt.

We got home and dumped out the loot.

Nola was excited.

See that's glee.

 Alas all she got to eat was this orange ribbon.

Maybe next year baby girl.
