Christmas Eve was spent having fun with friends.
We snapped a family photo when we got home.
We then opened some Christmas Eve Jammies. I decided this year I would make them. I made the pattern for the pants and they turned out great. But when it came to the top I wasn't feeling so ambitious. So I bought a pattern and made them. Something was wrong and I mean seriously wrong with the sleeves. They were to big for the neck so I had to make some adjustments. When the tops were done the sleeves looked HUGE. But since I didn't want the kids to see them I couldn't try them on and make alterations.
When they put them on Tyson and I could not stop laughing. The sleeves are like kimono sleeves, too long and way to wide. So we will need to do some fixing. See no hands Mom.
Not that they care one bit.
Nola's of course just ate the paper.
I brought a treat to a friend and this is what she brought to thank me. I would call that glee.
Christmas Morning. The kids got up at 8am. It was AWESOME! We opened stockings and gifts from Santa, had breakfast and then at 9am woke Nola so we could open the rest.
I made Rollie Pollie Bags by Dana made it. Her patterns are worth every penny.
Um didn't realize that all we need is an O.
Tyson got me some great gifts including this necklace.
Nola loves her doll. She played with her for a long time.
Shared lots of hugs.
The boys got a dress up box, best idea ever, thanks Tara.
Then Nola moved on to feeding her baby. Be still my heart.
By the way the Rollie Pollies make fantastic ottomans for the couch.
We had 1pm church. What a perfect way to celebrate Christ's birth.
Merry Christmas everyone. I hope it was as magical as ours.
