Since November I have been driving Aiden to and from school.40 minutes round trip.
80 minutes a day.
Ouch.
We were all going crazy.
Finally I checked into the school bus.
And I learned that it would pick him up 10 minutes before we normally left.
Not to bad.
Still I thought and thought about it.
The thought of my baby getting on the bus by himself freaked me out.
Then I did the math of how much it cost me to drive him.
$6 a day
4 days a week
$96 a month
I finally gave in.
Decided he could ride the bus to school.
(I still pick him up so we can hurry home and fit in a nap at 3pm)
So Thursday was the big day.
We talked about the bus coming for days.
We waited outside for 15 minutes.
Finally I called.
There was a mix-up the bus wasn't coming.
So we drove to school.
Liam waiting in the rain.
But Friday the bus came.
Aiden loves the bus and I love being in the car a little less.
He talks about the bus all of the time.
Random I know.

He is old enough to go on a school bus? Is he already in Kindergarten? I didn't realize he was that old! He looks so little on the bus.
Sweet. I complain about driving a mile because I still have to leave a 1/2 hour early to find a decent parking spot. A bus would be the answer to my early morning and mid-day frustrations :) I love the boots!
