Oorah, Semper Fi

Megan The Butcher, I mean Barber
The boys were in desperate need for haircuts. Tyson brings it up daily. So last night I started with Liam. His hair was all cut. Maybe the best haircut he has ever received. I said to Tyson "all done". But on second thought I will run the clippers over the sides just one more time, just to make sure all of the hairs are in perfect order. I pick up the clipper and in one swipe I let out an "OH NO!!!!!"
I had taken off the guard and just buzzed Liam to the scalp.
I know what you are thinking, it's probably not that bad.
Let me assure you, it is that bad.
See picture below.

Don't worry I heard your collective gasp.
With a mistake this bad there is not much you can do but buzz the rest and start feeding your kid vitamins in hopes that it will look presentable by next Sunday.
So I extended the blade to give it an extra 1/8" and buzzed the rest of his sides.
But the "Accident" is still slightly visable.

Good thing he has those eyes to distract you from noticing the Marine haircut.
So am I wrong in thinking I can leave the top with a little bit of length.
I am to close to the situation to have a clear head.
Tyson, the good husband that he is, assures me that it looks good, and he likes it.
He's winning brownie points.

Oh My! I bet you had a heart attack.

Kinda reminds me of spring break and Hawaii... but that was on purpose.
And like his Mom he looks great with short short hair! : )

Oh man! My heart did stop a little when I saw the picture but you totally saved the cute cut!! And the eyes do make up for it for sure.
