Family Photos July 2011

In July Tyson's best friends Jon Glover flew out to California to take our family pictures.

They turned out great.  We shot over 2 days, three different times.  Let's be completely honest the first day didn't go so well.  The boys never looked at the camera at the same time. This picture is one of my favorites because it shows a perfect summary of my life and that day.

Aiden and Liam were fighting over who got what chair.  FYI Rocking Chairs are a terrible idea for family pictures for kids, constant motion.  Aiden started standing up and sitting down over and over and over again until he missed the front of the chair hit his elbow and started crying.  This wrapped up day one.  When bad goes to worse, pack it up and go home.  We did get some shots the first day.  The second day when we went to the beach was much better.  I didn't want to shoot at the beach I was afraid the kids would be distracted and it's a bit cliche, no?  But after day one I didn't care so much.  The good news is it was cold so the weren't moving very fast.  So day 2 so much better.  The pictures are all mixed.  Enjoy.
